These courses aim to promote a positive approach to personal health and fitness by encouraging participants to involve themselves in some regular activities. You can choose from a range of courses to suit your individual fitness level.

HATHA YOGA    yoga

Our classes will leave participants energised, balanced and whole. Other benefits include improved strength and flexibility, toning, increased clarity, improved focus and a greater sense of overall well-being. Physical and breathing exercises gently stretch and strengthen the body and calm the mind.
BYO mat or rug for floor exercises.

PILATES   pilates

Pilates is an exercise system that strengthens and corrects posture, especially the abdominal and mid torso muscles. Increases your range of movements, invigorates and energises your body by stimulating circulation and mental clarity.
Wear comfortable clothing and B.Y.O. mat for floor exercises.

FLEET FEET - FITNESS WALKING GROUP  walking

Enjoy fitness walking with other locals. The group leaves from local parks for approximately 1 hour walks. Group meets throughout the year. New people can join at any time throughout the year.

STRENGTH TRAINING CLASSES  weights

Classes are resistance training that will build bone & muscle as well as improving your cardio-vascular fitness, energy levels, muscle tone & strength. It aids weight loss, defies age and makes you feel and look fantastic! Classes are suitable for females & males of any age group. We have 2 levels of Strength Training classes.

GENTLE STRENGTH TRAINING

These classes are very gentle and low paced, particularly suited to the 60 plus age group. Incorporates light weights and very gentle exercise.

CPR cpr

Learn the life saving technique of resuscitation for the first time or simply to refresh your skills. Course content includes assessing the situation, calling for an ambulance, primary assessment/DRABCD action plan, rescue breathing, applying CPR and resuscitation barrier devices.

FIRST AID, LEVEL 1  

This entry-level course is designed for people who want to learn the key elements of first aid. It will arm you with the life saving skills that you need to perform in an emergency situation, in those vital minutes before the ambulance arrives. This course covers all CPR content, as above, with the addition of the O H & S Act, external bleeding, nose bleeds, amputations, shock, asthma, chest pain, seizures and choking.
